The city of Napa is the hub of the Valley with a population of approx. 80,000. It is located at the south end of the Valley approx. 51 miles from San Francisco and a quick 50 minute drive to Oakland Airport.
Today, the city has a bustling downtown and a series of popular neighborhoods, each with its unique real estate footprint. Whether you are a new family looking for a safe, quiet neighborhood, or first time single buyer looking for a quick walk to Napa’s night life, there is an area and type of real estate that is right for you (see popular areas). Additionally, there are 48 parks that cover 800 acres of land so you can enjoy picnics with the family, hiking to beautiful views, playing 18 holes of golf, throwing the ball for you furry friend and so much more.
One of my favorite things about Napa, is that it does not take 30 minutes to drive to a grocery store and another 30 minutes to find a parking space like in a big city! You can find anything you are looking for via a short drive (or Uber!) within the 18sq miles that encompasses Napa city limits.
